Master of Arts (MA)

A Master’s degree is a postgraduate academic qualification awarded after the completion of an undergraduate course. The terms ‘Master’ and ‘Master of Arts’ are sometimes used interchangeably but they have distinct meanings. A Master’s degree typically lasts two years but can be completed in as little as one semester if you take part-time studies (about one-third of MAs are full-time).

The different types of MA include:

  • Master of Arts (MA) – This denotes that students have passed the final examination at their next level which would allow them to enter into further study at another institution or directly into employment without having to complete any further studies before doing so; usually takes between one year up until three years depending on its departmental requirements for entry into this type

Master of Science (MS)

A Master of Science (MS) is a terminal degree that can be earned after earning a bachelor’s degree. The program takes two years to complete and may also be followed by additional training or research opportunities. Most students enroll at the graduate level because it allows them to specialize in their field of study, but some undergraduates apply for admission as well. It should be noted that there are no required prerequisites for admission into an MS program; students need only demonstrate academic excellence and potential through exams such as GRE or GMAT while they’re still in high school!

Master of Arts in Management Studies (MAISM)

Master of Arts in Management Studies (MAISM) is a postgraduate program that offers specialization in management studies. It is a 2-year course offered by universities like the University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and others.
