A Master’s degree typically lasts two years but can be completed in as little as one semester if you take part-time studies (about one-third of MAs are full-time).
The different types of MA include:
- Master of Arts (MA) – This denotes that students have passed the final examination at their next level which would allow them to enter into further study at another institution or directly into employment without having to complete any further studies before doing so; usually takes between one year up until three years depending on its departmental requirements for entry into this type
Master of Science (MS)
A Master of Science (MS) is a terminal degree that can be earned after earning a bachelor’s degree.
